The base is worn with age/use and there are some surface scratches, as expected with age, but no visible damage or repairs. Metal burner is tarnished, but unscrews ok and looks complete. Font and column are made in one piece, so do not detach.

An ornate 19th century brass oil lamp, the blue opaque glass column finely painted with arabesques, with an opaline glass font and etched clear glass shade, on a hexagonal base, decorated in relief with scrolls, 71cm high overallOverall condition looks to be complete, but dirty and tarnished. The font unscrews. The base may have been drilled, but has been filled so it is very difficult to see where the hole was. Shade is dirty but complete.
