Contained in its black lacquered wooden scabbard complete with brown leather field scabbard . Together with its brown and blue Officer's sword knot. Ido Hidetoshi pre war Swordsmith lived in Seki City in Mino Province. Born in 1915. He worked at Fukumoto Amahide's Gunto Factory which was located in Seki Gifu.

Polished wooden grip with carved bone floral menuki. Contained in its polished wooden ribbed scabbard with carved bone inlet mounts. Lower chape and throat absent. Scabbard fitted to take a small front knife, this absent. Minor rust staining to blade.
