The style of Emura signatures on blades produced at this facility vary considerably and it is unusual to find swords of this period in non-military mounts.

Beatrix Kiddo wielded the sword made for her by master bladesmith Hattori Hanzo (Sonny Chiba) against O-Ren Ishii (Lucy Liu) and her Crazy 88. Chiba served as the film's sword consultant.This katana features a bloodstained resin blade with a metallic paint finish inset into a metal habaki painted gold-color; a matte black metal tsuba; a textured white resin tsuka affixed with faux gold-color decorative jewels and wrapped with a black leather cord tsuka ito; and a faux gold-color kashira engraved with leaf emblems. Also included is a polished black bamboo saya with a matching leaf emblem tip; a gold-color aluminum hamon on each side; a gold-color rope sageo; and the Hattori Hanzo emblem etched into it. NINJA ASSASSIN - Raizo's (Rain) SwordRaizo's (Rain) sword from James McTeigue's action thriller Ninja Assassin. Raizo wielded his sword in various fight scenes throughout the film, most notably as he fought his older brother, Takeshi (Rick Yune).The aluminum sword has a wooden grip bound in black cloth and a metal tsuba. A groove runs along the length of both sides of the blade, with three Japanese symbols engraved into the base of the blade. The blade has been blunted to prevent injury. It exhibits wear, including a small amount of adhesive at the base of the grip and some loosening of the guard. JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD (1868-1912) STEEL KATANA SWORDThe steel blade, 66cm long, with pierced iron Tsuba, cord wrapped ray skin hilt with two dragon Menuki and parcel-gilt Kashira, with later leather WW2 leather scabbard, 93.5cm long overall; Together with a later Mariner’s sailcloth caseHanded to Major Alan Cooper of the East Kent Regiment, known as The Buffs, shortly after the surrender of the Japanese in World War Two, August 1945. The carrying bag was reputedly stitched by a crew member of the Landing Craft Tank that Major Cooper commanded. Condition report: The steel blade with various small nibbles to the edge and some oxidization. The hilt removable with no signature beneath. A leather collar probably concealing the Fuchi. Some minor spots of oxidization wear and rubbing overall. Leather scabbard dating from the World War Two. General light scuffs and scratches. The blade is approx 67cm long and the leather scabbard 70cm high.

A Japanese Shinshinto katana, having a 68cm curved steel blade with copper habaki, pierced brass floral decorated tsuba and samegawa wrapped tsuka with menuki, 92cm.The back edge of the blade appears to have been hit, as if to cut through something, and is heavily dented.Small knocks to edge of blade near tip.Unable to get a clearer image of the signature.
