Members of the Hand sent to assassinate Mark Miller (Goran Visnjic) and his daughter Abby (Kirsten Zien) carried chokuto swords with them before Elektra Natchios (Jennifer Garner) eliminated them. This lot consists of a metal chokuto sword with a square metal tsuba with embossed hand signals in the corners and a black nylon wrapped ito; and a black wooden sheath with a black nylon strap. This lot exhibits minor scuffing to the sheath and grime stains to the blade. Complete with Laquered wooden Saya with gilt Mon decoration: smaller Wakizashi sword with single edged 470mm long blade with Hamon line, unsigned tang, Tsuba matches the other sword, ray skin grip with menuki, overall length 624mm. Japanese Wakizashi Sword with single edge blade with good Hamon line 400mm in length. Mon to the Habaki. Tsuba is decorated with Dragonflies. Dragonfly decoration is continued on the Fuchi and the Kashira. Good quality Ray skin covered grip. Overall length 565mm. Complete with ornate laquered Saya with Dragonfly to the tip. Complete with Zozuka knife with signed single edged blade 117mm in length, handle is again decorated with dragonfly design, together with Wari-kogai again with Dragonfly decoration.

JAPANESE KATANA / WAKIZASHI, BELIEVED EDO PERIOD (1603-1868) OR EARLIER with (likely shortened) curved steel blade, over copper mounts, pierced bronze oval tsuba cast with foliage, cloth bound fish skin grip with gilt bronze mounts, in black roiro lacquer sayablade 59.5cm long, katana 88cm long overall, saya 80cm longWe have been able to remove the blade and images of the signature are uploaded. The blade shows some nibbles to the edge. Blade length 70.5cm from tip to end of tang. Various condition issues across the sword including the tsuba, the grip and handle, and the scabbard. A Japanese WWII army officer's Katana type 98 sword, with shagreen grip and gilt metal terminal, and applied bronzed metal panels applied to the grip above the tsuba, with scabbard, blade length 68cm.Condition Report: Push button on grip, however the scabbard is damaged near the top so scabbard is loose without release.

WW2 Military Mounted Japanese Officer's Katana Sword With Signed Tang 25 3/4 inch, single edged blade with wide, wavy line hammon. The tang with five character signature to one side and red painted, four character signature to the reverse. Copper habaki. Brass, floral decorated, military pattern tsuba, fuchi and kabuto gane. Shagreen grip with floral menuki. Tan cord binding. Contained in its wooden scabbard and military pattern, leather, field cover. Complete with brown and blue sword knot.
WW2 Japanese NCO’s Sword Katana, regulation blade 67cms cut with single hi on each side and numbered 78883, regulation brass tsuba and aluminium tsuka (pommel slightly crushed with small crack), in its iron saya with single suspension ring and higher ranking orange fabric sword knot attached, assumed picked up at the same time as the sword. Good condition overall, some age wear.

Six Japanese iron Tsubas15th-19th centuryTwo inlaid with silver and gold, one pierced with stylised floral motif, 8cm - 7cm wide.Provenance: Acquired by captain André Le Gac (1895-1960) in China in the 1920s, thence by descent.Condition Report: Expected old wear including some light deterioration to surface and scattered nicks to edges, particularly to the tsuba with radiating design.A couple of areas of losses to inlay, particularly around the openings for the hilts on three of the tsubas.
