James Craig Nicoll (New York, California, Connecticut, 1846 - 1918) Etching depicting a coastal seascape with a vessel near the horizon. Pencil Signed lower right. Sight Size: 6.5 x 10.25 in. Overall Size: 11.25 x 14.25 in. Framed behind glass. Nicoll was an Eastern painter who was in San Diego in 1896-97. While there, he painted several views of Catalina Island.
