Cross, Irish, silver plated gel pen with gold filled trim, and a similar twist mechanism ball point pen, in a Cross box; a single Cross silver plated ballpoint pen with gold filled trim, in its box; and two Cross `Classic Black` ball point pens, 2502, both in their original boxes and outer card packaging
* McCartney (Paul). Autograph on plain paper, [December 1967], slight shadowing to initial ‘P’ presumably from starting the ink flow in the ballpoint pen used, paper size 11 x 14cm, light fold marks, together with a small contemporary autograph album containing a handful of authographs of Kenneth Horne, Kenneth Williams, Alan Bates (adhesion marks to paper edges), Sybil Thorndike (loose piece of paper) and Hugh Paddick, contemp. boards, some wear, small square 8vo. The recipient of these autographs worked at L & H Nathan, theatrical costumiers in Drury Lane. It was while working here that the owner was able to obtain the in-person autograph from Paul McCartney in 1967. (2)

"THE MYSTERY OF HOLLY LANE", Enid Blyton`s original corrected typescript, annotated cover sheet (torn in half) followed by chapter headings, signed foreword, one hundred and seventy eight typed sheets, usual level of manuscript corrections written in ballpoint pen. Final sheet with pinned additional sheet containing revised version of the last few sentences. The typescript is not bound and there is browning and marginal/corner wear to many of the sheets of paper, the wear is quite heavy to this manuscript
