*Ballesteros (Severiano ÒSeveÓ, 1957-2011). An autographed copy of a special 113th Open Golf Championship St. Andrews newspaper ÔWelcome to the Home of GolfÕ, 1984, b & w illusts. from photos, adverts throughout, 46 pp. including col. upper cover, signed in light area lower left in blue ballpoint pen ÔSeve BallesterosÕ, together with a second unsigned copy, both VG, plus a Seve Ballesteros St. Andrews Golf Game produced by Wheatley Golf, contained in orig. box. The autograph was obtained in person at St. Andrews by the vendor staying in a nearby house. This was his second Open Championship win and his only one at St. Andrews. (3)
*The Beatles. A set of Beatles autographs obtained 23 October 1963, signed one above the other in blue ballpoint pen on a plain piece of card, additionally inscribed ÔBeatlesÕ by Paul McCartney at head, written to the verso of an Air France carte de presentation card with date 23/10/63 written in ballpoint, 15 x 10 cm (6 x 4 ins), together with a Souvenir Programme for ÔThe Beatles Christmas ShowÕ, [1963], 24pp including stapled pictorial wrappers, covers slightly creased and marked, slim 4to, plus an original pressing of the LP Beatles for Sale (Parlophone PMC 1240, gatefold sleeve, mono), some light surface scratches to record, covers creased and corners bumped. The autographs were obtained in person by a family member then working for Air France. The Beatles Bible (online) confirms that on 23 October 1963, the band finished their final recording session for ÔWith the BeatlesÕ before flying to Sweden for their first foreign tour. -3

Marguerite Frieda Harris (1877-1962) was an artist, and an associate of the occultist Aleister Crowley whom she met in 1937. She is best known for her design of CrowleyÕs Thoth Tarot Deck. It seems likely that Harris used this book for her research for the designs of the Thoth Tarot Deck. Frieda Harris was co-executor of Aleister CrowleyÕs will. (1)
