A French brass carriage clock, timepiece with alarm with Roman numerals, complete with carrying case. Height excluding handle 10 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The clock doesn't appear to work and probably would benefit from an overhaul. The height of the case is 10.7 cm and the width is 8 cm. It does have a key present. There is no obvious damage other than some hairline cracks to the enamelled dial, the remainder appears to be in good condition.

A collection of four brass carriage clocks, three timepieces only, one with alarm. CONDITION REPORT: One timepiece has a chip to top left hand corner of enamelled dial and a chip to the top left hand corner or the glazed rear door. Another timepiece has a hairline crack running diagonally across the dial. The third appears to be in good overall condition. The clock with alarm has two very small chips to the plaster face and some scuffing to the metal case. The repeat button is also slightly loose.

A late 18th century single handed hooded alarm wall timepiece, case height 57 cm, width 32 cm, depth 20 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The dial size for this clock is 17 cm square. Visually the case exterior is in good condition, the flat top has some age-related splitting and some staining around the fixing points to the base moulding, the dial appears to have been cleaned as does the mechanism and the seat board appears to be a replacement, the apron or fret cut moulding appears to have been re-attached, the movements ropes and weights appear to be later, the shaped base section has splitting and some minor losses. Looking at the case throughout there is a possibility that the case has been fully restored i.e taken apart and re-assembled, we have not had the clock running and cannot guarantee that it is fully operational.

A 19th Century French Carriage Clock, by Drocourt of Paris, No. 8356, the 2.275ins diameter white enamelled dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, within engraved gilt brass slip, to the eight day two train quarter striking and repeating movement with alarum, contained in gilt brass and bevelled glass case engraved with trailing leaf and floral ornament, 5.75ins high, and leather cover travelling case for sameCondition Report - The overall condition of the clock is excellent showing no obvious sign of previous damage or repair.  Likewise the dial and subsidiary seconds dial are both in excellent condition showing no obvious sign of previous damage or repair or hairline cracks.  All five glass panels are in excellent condition showing no sign of chips or cracks.  The mechanism itself appears to be clean and in good order and intact. The clock winds, runs and sets, but has not been tested. The mechanism is two train, both winding from the rear, likewise the alarm is wound from the rear as are the alarm hands. Overall a nice example.

Antoine Konner, Bruchsall, No.7251, the 4.25ins diameter white enamel dial with Roman hour numerals and Arabic quarter numerals, with concentric date ring with gilt pierced and engraved hands and blue steeled hands for date and alarm set, to the eight day quarter striking and repeating movement, with balance wheel escapement and alarm, striking on two bells, contained in case with coiled serpent handle, applied with oak leaves and foliate bosses to sides, on turned feet, 7.5ins high, Provenance: Bonham's, New Bond Street, London - 19th June 2007 - Lot 16Condition Report - The overall condition of the gilding to the exterior case is in very good condition and appears to be original, showing no obvious sign of any previous damage or repair.  We can confirm that the movement is indeed an eight day movement and that the clock winds, runs, sets and repeats, however it has not been tested.  The dial is in excellent condition showing no obvious signs of hairline cracks or previous repair.  The hands appear original, likewise the glass to the front appears to be original and in good condition showing no obvious cracks or other damage.  Overall a nice honest example.
