Phonographenwecker von Lioret und Farcot, 1896 Seltener französischer Phonograph "Le Merveilleux" für Zelluloid-Zylinder mit 30 Sekunden Spieldauer. Erfinder und Hersteller war der Pariser Uhrmacher Henri Lioret (1848–1938). Vergoldetes Gehäuse aus Gußmetall im Stil von Louis XV. 4 Schallöffnungen, Porzellanzifferblatt, Höhe 35 cm. Französisches Uhrwerk von Farcot et Wandenberg mit Serien-Nr. 114. – Im Jahr 1896 bat die Société Farcot et Wandenberg Henri Lioret um die Lieferung von Teilen, Zylinder und Schalldose für eine Phonographenuhr. Das Uhrwerk und der Zylinder der Phonographenuhr stammen allein aus den Werkstätten von Lioret. Der Spezialzylinder trägt auf seinem Etikett das Markenzeichen der Firma Farcot et Wandenberg, dieser ist auch im Lioret-Katalog von 1895 mit Nr. 4206 "Les Gardes municipaux" zu finden. – Zur gewählten Alarmzeit beginnt der Phonographen-Mechanismus zu laufen, der Deckel auf der Oberseite der Uhr öffnet sich, der Zylinder spielt, am Ende stoppt der Mechanismus und der Deckel schließt sich wieder. – Guter Zustand, Uhrwerk und Phonographen-Mecha-nismus funktionieren. – Ein Meilenstein der Phonographengeschichte und ein Top-Ausstellungsstück für jede anspruchsvolle Sammlung. The movement and the cylinder of the phonograph clock came solely from Lioret's workshops. The special cylinder bears the trademark of Farcot et Wandenberg on its label. The model can also be found in the 1895 Lioret catalog, No. 4206, "Les Gardes municipaux".
