An 18th/19th century silvered repeater carriage clock/alarm: engraved silver-plated case with floral design on bun feet. Recessed campaign-style handle to the top. Silvered dial with open escapement to the top and four winding holes to the back, three hammers striking on three gongs with case. H13cm x W8.5cm x D7cm CONDITION REPORT: Clock in good original order, with original fitted case and key. Strike is out of sync with the hands, button works for time, as do all the hammers for repeat mechanism and alarm. No signatures or marks to the clock, some engraved marks to the base but for repair/security markings,period fitted case of hinged form, made of wood with leather fittings bearing an old label with hand written numbers. clock runs well and keeps good time
