A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH BRASS GORGE CASED REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK BY DROCOURT NO. 10598 RETAILED BY LEROY & FILS 211 REGENT STREET, LONDON. with fold down handle, moulded case with bevelled glasses and an enamel white dial with Roman numerals, five minute markers and signed to the dial centre Leroy & Fils, fronting an eight-day spring driven movement striking the hours and half hours on a coiled gong, alarm function and original jewelled balance wheel escapement. The back plate stamped for Drocourt and engraved with Leroy name and address 17cm high with the handle up.ConditionIn un-restored condition been all original having an original escapement and glasses. The enamel dial has a small crack to the top corner.

A LATE 17th CENTURY BRASS LANTERN CLOCK the 6.25" brass engraved Roman chapter ring with tulip engraved centre and Arabic alarm dial fronting a posted framed with hook and spike, 30 hour weight driven movement with verge escapement and anchor shaped pendulum swinging between the plates into winged apertures on either side of the case, the hours and alarm strike on a bell supported above the dial 38cm high.

The arch with cast spandrels and silvered name plaque, fronting a posted 30hr movement with inner countwheel strike on a bell, verge escapement, brass hinged doors, sound frets 18cm wide 30cm high - sold with lead weight.ConditionIn good untouched original condition with original verge escapement. Dial and movement belong together.

Fitted in original Moroccan leather carrying case. 9.5cm high handle down.ConditionOriginal Lever escapement the clock is in good unrestored condition no damage to dials or glass panels does function when wound.
