A French oval brass carriage clock with alarm and repeat, shaped handle above rectangular enamel dial signed 'Wm Jaffray, Glasgow', moon hands, alarm disc below, with bell strike and silvered platform lever escapement, 15cm (6in) The clock appears to working and repeating, but the strike is 2 hours out of sync. There is no key, nor leather case. The case has a brass lacquer finish. The glasses and dial appear to be OK. The surface is worn in places.
