A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH BRASS REPEATER CARRIAGE CLOCK the black enamel dial marked Le Roy and Son, 57 New Bond Street London, with white Roman numerals on red shield shaped markers, with red alarm dial flanked by two grotesque creatures, the raised enamel side panels (possibly Limoges) depicting a man and a woman, the movement marked 3353 and 9124, 15cm high Condition Report: Front glass has a deep scratch. There is a chip to the top right hand corner of the panel depicting the man. He also has a chip to his foot and there is a crack in the bottom red piece of his robe. Has a key but the clock is not winding.

Front and back glass panels with chips to the edges, brass surfaces are slightly discoloured and with surface scratches and minor dents, alarm dial with one chip, movement in going order. With winding key, not original. No travelling case. Both spring barrels are fully wound. Repeat button is working. Going train is not working. Hours and quarters are working when hand setting.
