A striped pink taffeta afternoon dress, circa 1865, adorned with woven ribbons and black bobbin lace, comprising bodice, skirt and waistband bow, bust approx 86cm, 34in (3) CONDITION REPORT: Stains and fading, faint watermarks over sleeves and upper bodice, brown spot stain to front skirt 'apron' approx. 1cm diam, fabric has been taken from the rear skirt and the waistband has been altered
A Chanel couture pale pink tweed suit, late 1970s, labelled and numbered 63297-9, the jacket with gilt double 'C' buttons and bow; silk blouse with matching buttons and pleated skirt, bust approx 92cm, 36in (3) CONDITION REPORT: Wool is pilling, jacket has faint perspiration stains at underarms to lining only, blouse has perspiration stains at underarms.
A pair of midnight-blue satin ladies' buttoned ankle boots, 1875-80, with beaded and embroidered rounded square toes and bow to front, length 18 1/2cm, 7 1/2in (2) CONDITION REPORT: Good condition, very fresh. Beading, embroidery and bows all good. Soles show signs that they have been worn but no damage. Interiors are linen lined and part silk laces. Pink silk lining to upper section only and this has splits and wear. Very slight scuffing on each boot to rear ankle above the heels.
A Dior New York printed summer ensemble, late 1950s, labelled to jacket, with orientally-inspired basket weave pattern, the dress with grosgrain ribbon straps and large buttons, and the matching jacket with bow to front, bust 96cm, 38in (2) CONDITION REPORT: good condition- faint perspiration stains to underarms of dress, concealed within the pattern.
A beaded and embroidered couture ivory chiffon bridal or presentation tunic-dress, circa 1928, adorned with couched love knots, rhinestones, floss silk and bugle beaded bands, bust approx 92cm, 36in; together with an ivory chiffon and silver lace edged trained with large pearl and silver beaded bow; and a quantity of lingerie c.1900-20 (qty) CONDITION REPORT: Dress: faint champagne stain to back right neck-bodice area, dress would have been worn with a silk underslip which is missing, embroidery and beading are good, slight tarnishing to love-knots on shoulders. Train: it is non-matching with the dress, though similar colours and dress has pres-studs to attach. Gold lace and pearl bead embroidery is generally good but numerous scattered small holes and 8x6cm L-shaped tear. Lingerie: fair/poor condition, silk nightie has tear at left underarm, matching knickers have a rip rear waist centre back, monogrammed split drawers have a few holes and repairs, lace trim has been removed from neck edge of bed cape.
