An assorted group of English floral and other encrusted rococo porcelain, circa 1830s and later, comprising two Samuel Alcock & Co ewers, further painted with flowers and insects, on wrythen fluted bases, printed diamond registration marks for 1844, painted pattern number 5504, 29.5cm high; a graduated pair of twin-handled vases, painted with opposing panels of fancy birds in landscapes, 25.5cm and 30cm high; a Chamberlain's Worcester pierced bowl and pierced cover, the peach salmon ground encrusted with sea shells on shredded clay ground, the finial formed as a bouquet of flowers, the interior painted with a still life of flowers including pansies and roses, painted mark to the interior of the cover, 21.5cm diameter; a Coalport Coalbrookdale vase with pierced cover, nicely painted with bouquets of flowers and birds on fruiting branches, underglaze blue CD mark, 24cm high; sold together with a modern Spode 'Stafford Flowers' trinket pot and cover and a limited edition 'Spode Treasures' jardiniere, 24cm wide (group)Condition:Damages and repairs including:- two ewers - one with badly broken handle and repaired breaks to the mouth. The other has been crudely broken and repaired at the foot. Breakages and losses to foliage.Pair of bird vases - Breakages and minor losses to foliage throughout. The larger example with some crazing to the glaze and a hairline descending from the upper rim.Chamberlain's Worcester bowl and cover - floral finial broken and re-attached. The shells appear in good condition with no obvious damages or large missing pieces. The interior has wear to the peach ground and some of the coral gilding. There is a small chip to the underside of the rim and a further repaired broken section.Coalbrookdale vase - Restoration to several portions of the rim. Chip to rose final on the cover, which is also crazed to the glaze. Lacking a few sections of the applied foliage. Some leaves chipped, likewise several flowers with broken or missing segments. Crazing near the lower portion and underside foot.No damages to Spode pieces.
