Arethusa', a wooden desk weight inscribed 'Original wood from deck of Dufferin', a Steamship Company Speciality Supply glass paperweight, a cigarette case with plaque inscribed 'H.M.S. Renown', a salt with plaque inscribed 'H.M.S. Lancastria', a small trinket box with plaque inscribed 'R.M.S. S.S. Arcadian' and a Lamport & Holt Line green floral printed saucer dish (9). CONDITION REPORT Some surface wear throughout, as you can imagine, heavy tarnishing to the cigarette case and the metal pieces. The only bit of enamel that is damaged is on the H.M.S. Lancastria salt, where there is a small loss to the band, otherwise general surface wear. Provenance: this lot is from a private collection in Surrey and the vendor's father taught at Liverpool Maritime College many years ago.
