Gross weight: approx. 120.9 grams (3.8ozt) Further details: some areas to enamel with minor loss and chips; minor loss to gilding and surface wear, tarnishing and slight surface scratches.

A SELECTION OF FRENCH GILT METAL MOUNTED GLASS VARIOUS DATES 20TH CENTURY Including: an oval moulded-glass trinket box and hinged cover, 15.5cm wide; a French electrotype casket, indistinct signature, 16.5cm wide, a Continental gilt metal mounted shell lobed casket, 18.5cm wide, an inkwell and cover and other vases and boxes Condition Report: All with rubbed gilding and remnants of polish to metalwork. Some wear and small fritting to glass throughout Pair floral bud vases- mounts slightly loose- possible reattached Large oval box- eagle finial probably later, top does not close neatly and is slightly distorted. - hob nailing is moulded not cut Circular box- hob nailing is moulded not cut, top distorted and does not close neatly- glue deposits to mounts 2 bud vases- one cut down Encrier- very rubbed- mounts detached Powder box and cover- body is cracked shell box- old glue residue throughout, glue has dried and shell is loose- some cracks Electrotype style box- very rubbed, no key- interior has perished With wear, marks, knocks and scratches as per age, handling, use, and cleaning.
