A late 19th century gilt-metal mounted banded agate casket, of plain rectangular form, raised on four ball feet, 3¼in. (8.3cm.) wide; together with a gilt-metal mounted agate oval shaped trinket box. (2)* Condition: Oval trinket box with flea-bite chip and scratched to underside. Casket very good.
An antique Continental gilt metal trinket box, c.1900, of rectangular rounded form, the hinged lid with enamel foliate decoration, inset glass beads and a raised circular porcelain disc depicting a classical maiden, the lid opening to reveal a bevelled glass mirror with delicate gilt-metal frieze, the underside engine turned, 3in. (7.5cm.) long; together with a sea-bean trinket box, in as found condition. (2)* Condition: Nut patch box with major splits. Gilt metal box very good with tiny losses to enamel leaves.
