A collection of vintage games comprising an unusual edition of Lexicon card game by Waddingtons circa 1930s in an attractive red box designed to like a book with gold lettering, appears to be complete and is in very good condition (see photographs), 2 x original boxed PIT Bull and Bear Edition card games both in their original boxes both of which show some signs of age otherwise are in good condition (see photographs). Parker Brothers developed The PIT card game in 1904, with this Bull and Bear edition dating between 1912 and 1915. Pit is a fast paced card game simulating the open outcry bidding system of the commodity exchange used at the Chicago Board of Trade which was known as the Pit and a fabric covered vintage Newmould Box trinket box (circa 1930s) approx 23cm x 14cm x 6cm high with hinged lid and a lift out tray containing 27 x vintage domino pieces hand made in carved bone with hard wood back. The domino pieces are very likely to be somewhat earlier than the Newmould Box probably late Victorian, Edwardian. Each domino piece measures approx 22mm x 45mm, at 27 in number is probably one short from the standard Western style set of 28 pieces, they are really nicely made, have a nice feel to them and in very good condition, the fabric covering on the outside of the box is worn and is loose in several places (see photographs). The lot comprising an 18th century medieval style Gothic heavy brass trinket box in the form of a coffer, with worn ecclesiastical relief scenes, a 20th century Persian style silver metal long box with scrolled & floral raised decoration, and a 20th century Chinese brass box with engraved floral display and an enamel flower central scene to the lid. Largest box measuring approx. 5.5cm x 25.5cm x 7cm.

The lot comprising a bronze Portuguese panel depicting religious scene, a plaster plaque with classical scene of gods, cherubs & horse, and a panel depicting market place with menorah in the background. The lot to comprise two near matched ceramic vases of white ground with yellow, blue & green geometric design, marked to base Araera Duran Spana. The other two hand made pieces being a bulbous squat vase & a trinket dish in hues of blues & purples, one with label Trofeo Internacional A La Ciudad. Tallest to measure approx. 19cm tall.
A 19th century French enamel and ormolu mounted trinket box with blue ground and jewelling, the top decorated with an oval panel depicting a romantic scene, 15cms wide.Condition Reportone or two very slight areas of damage to the edges of the enamel, inside looks to be original, minor surface scratches. There are minor marks to the blue ground and the silk fabric base is worn but otherwise in good condition.

Condition Report There are minor areas of bruising to some areas of the edge, especially to the top centre (as per image) there is a loss to half of a 'pearl' decoration to the back, it has been re-lined and the key is present but the lock is not functioning, some minor surface scratching otherwise good overall condition.
