Charlie Holloway's (Logan Marshall-Green) champagne bottle from Ridley Scott's sci-fi prequel Prometheus. This comes from the personal collection of the film's set decorator Sonja Klaus. Charlie drank heavily from his bottle, shortly before he was infected by David (Michael Fassbender). The bottle is made of glass, covered in a mirrored metal foil and features Champagne Armand De Brignac insignia, a large "A" inside a playing card spade. Bernard Myers (1925-2007) - Still life of blue vase, playing cards, pears and a plate, signed, oil pastel, 20.75" x 28.5" - *The artist was a teacher of design at The Royal College of Art and one of his first pupils in 1966 was the inventor James Dyson. In his long career as a tutor, senior tutor and professor at The RCA between 1961-1980 Myers taught in most of the schools of the college, especially in industrial design engineering - which he taught simultaneously to civil engineering at Imperial College next door - interior design, film and television design (which he helped to set up) and general studies. The artist's fellow students at The Royal College of Art were John Bratby, Jack Smith, Frank Auerbeh and Leon Kossoff. Fine 19th Century 'Black Forest' inlaid walnut musical cuckoo bracket or table clock, circa 1879, retailed by Camerer, Cuss & Co, London, the 6.25-inch Gothic chapter ring with bone numerals and hands, wire-driven twin-fusee movement striking on a coiled gong, bellows-operated cuckoo and musical box to base with 6.25-inch barrel and complete comb playing six airs, the backboard with hand written detail to printed card, inscribed S30.6.79 in a 19th Century hand, printed label of Camerer, Cuss & Co dated 11.36 and 12.43 with additional label to exterior, the case with ebonised eagle surmount over twin-door cuckoo aperture between finials, the architectural case with breakfront corners and carved scroll work over inlaid stepped base, 61.5cm high Condition: Dial has minor staining to numerals and hands, movement currently ticks and cuckoo functions but extensively tested and sold as seen, one pair of bellows has been replaced. Musical mechanism has a complete combe but extensively tested and sold as seen. Case has a later dowel peg to rear of eagle surmount, one finial is detached but present, minor wear to lower stage of ebonised base including rubbing to front edge and slight crack to rear ogee bracket foot, but overall very nice condition and private provenance - **General condition consistent with age
