A PAIR OF EARLY VICTORIAN ROSEWOOD CARD TABLES, each with figured rectangular top and moulded edges, the fold over top is enclosing a circular green baize playing surface, on a shaped fluted supports, and shaped legs, width 93cm x depth 47cm x height 75cm (condition:-both distressed, ideal for restoration and viewing recommended due to water damage, multiple veneers are missing despite a small amount accumulated within a box, other faults include a frame solid)

Poland, circa 1818, engraved map with contemporary wash colouring, very slight spotting to the margins, 510 x 705 mm, plus Bussemacher (Johann & Quad Mattias). Ducatus Oswieczensis & Zatoriensis descriptio, 1592, hand-coloured engraved map of Southern Poland, 185 x 270 mm, Latin text on verso, and Von Reilly (Franz Johann Joseph). Die Königliche Republik Poland mit dem Grossherzogthum Lithauen, Vienna [1789], hand-coloured engraved map of Poland and Lithuania, 220 x 300 mm, with Lambert (Aniello). A Late-Victorian silver cribbage board, by Mills & Co., Birmingham 1891, also stamped 'Patent', rectangular form, engraved with the Jack of Spades and the reverse of a playing card with 'Goodall and Son, London', on a matted background, the underside with four tubes for pegs and on four ball feet, length 22.9cm, approx. weight 5.9oz.
A near pair George III demi-lune card tables, mahogany with fold over tops, a crossbanded border and square tapered legs. With a hinged top that opens to reveal a circular playing surface, 91cm w x 44cm d x 73cm h (each) (2)Marks and signs of wear consistent with age and use. Minor chips and fading to bottom legs on both, minor chips and marks to the underside and slight scuffs to the crossband veneering. Overall sturdy condition.

There is some wear to the marks on one or two but in general the marks are legible. There is some scratching overall, consistent with age and use. There are some scuffs to the case and some loss to the leather covering. The case gilt tooled with initials 'W.J.B'.
