T.L.S., Peter Cushing, one page, oblong 8vo, n.p., 11th September 1958, to Arthur Westwood. Cushing thanks his correspondent for their enthusiastic letter and continues 'I start “The Hound of the Baskervilles” on Monday, in which I am to play Mr. Sherlock Holmes. Andre Morrell is playing Dr. Watson and Christopher Lee Sir Henry Baskerville.' Two file holes to the upper edge, not affecting the text or signature. Together with Christopher Lee (1922- ) English Actor, famous for his appearances opposite Peter Cushing in Hammer Horror films. A printed oblong 12mo card sending good wishes for Christmas and the New Year, signed by Lee in blue ink with his name alone at the base. Dated 1960 in a small neat hand in the upper right corner.
