HMS Colleen); medals officially impressed, group swing mounted on card for display. Well-polished with some hairlines and light surface marks, nearly very fine, toned. (4) Musician Mark Burton was born 23 September 1888 in London, and attested for service directly from school as a ‘Band Boy’ playing the Euphonium 22 September 1903. Sold with copy service papers.

Lot includes a 1965 handwritten and signed letter from Terry Sylvester (in original envelope), letter to the band signed by them, a mini-poster signed by the band, four promo postcards (one signed), a fan club card, 54 photographs taken by the vendor (and to be sold with copyright ) plus a box of newspaper and magazine clippings relating to the band. The photographs have been taken out and about around Liverpool and also include them playing in The Cavern - twelve of these photographs have been signed on the reverse by various band members (2 @ Cavern signed by 3, 4 x Mike Gregory, 3 x Pete CLarke and 3 x Terry Sylvester).
