LARGE NINETEENTH CENTURY SWISS MUSIC BOX with hand-written and printed label for Etouffoirs en Acier soit a Spiraux, card and winding arm numbered 302, the 53cm brass cylinder playing twelve popular airs including La Magicienne, three-section comb, with central drum and 10 cast bee strikers to engraved bells with brass finials, under dustlid, contained within a rosewood veneered case, the hinged cover with an unusual inlaid centre with an Egyptian inspired panel depicting Sphinx, female bust and flowerheads, within crossbanded kingwood and boxwood borders, two side carrying handles, 87cm x 26cm x 34cm, on associated mahogany stand of Rococo design

*Everett (Kenny, 1944-1995). A group of five original master tapes of Kenny Everett's pre-recorded programmes produced for Radio Victory, Portsmouth, 1976, each recorded on Emitape reels, one with handwritten recording report completed by Keith Butler, a second one apparently completed by Kenny Everett for 2nd May, contained in original card boxes, two with Radio Victory labels and identified as recordings for 25th April and 2nd May 1976, one with label marked Victory and one marked 'Last Victory Show', 27 x 27 cm A CD transfer of each 50-minute programme is included with the lot. The content of each show is typical, madcap Everett in full pomp, playing tunes of the day, with occasional nods to Beethoven, Bach and Europop, the whole interspersed with Everett's trademark joking, humour and quizzes. Being pre-recorded there are no commercial adverts on these tapes, merely references at the points in the programme when Radio Victory would have broadcast these adverts. Also featuring on these tapes are performances of Everett's self-penned and performed radio serial Captain Kremmen. A rare slice of British radio history. (5)

19TH CENTURY ENGLISH SCHOOL "Scattered playing cards, musical notation, bank notes, etc", two studies, trompe l'oeil watercolour and ink, unsigned, 43.5 cm x 61 cm and 31.5 cm x 23.5 cm (2) CONDITION REPORTS The larger picture has browning and yellowing to paper, various stains and discolouration, although some of this appears to be deliberate to give an aged look to the trompe l 'oeil items. There is some wear and scuffs including some scrapes and small holes to the surface including to the centre right margin plus small scuffs throughout. There are also some areas of dirt and stains and some foxing. The blue pamphlet to the bottom right of the picture is inscribed "J.WILKS. 1813,". There are some water stains including a smudge to the nine of hearts playing card top centre of the picture. The illustration of the castle depicts Galoway and Carisbrooke Castle, Isle of Wight, the trompe l'oeil newspaper's wrapping is inscribed "The Honble S. Percival M.P. to Joseph Wilks Esqr Westerham Kent., " The silhouettes to the top - the central of these depicts a child and beneath the child is inscribed "Ellen Wilks. 1828." The frame has various wear, scuffs and chips and losses. The smaller picture has several splits and tears including tears top right, top left, bottom left, some to margins and into the black areas, some across top, and down into picture, and a large split / tear across the playing card. Some touching in and recolouring to the tears and some splashes of black paint and generally some marks, dirt and yellowing. Two folds to the paper which are worn and separating slightly, plus a hole to the centre top section. Some of this picture appears to be printed, and some is painted in ink.
