Battle Of Britain VC - Robert Taylor - signed print showing ' James Nicholson winning his VC, August 16th 1940 '. Signed by Eric L Kightley (rear gunner) in pencil, to the margin. Framed and glazed. Total size approx; 54cm x 67cm. Sergeant Eric Leslie Kightley was an Air Gunner on board the Liberator in which Nicholson lost his life on May 2nd 1945, one of only two survivors.

A 19th century Victorian ' Captain Hill's Velocity Scale ' slide rule, likely for use with a cannon or similar heavy artillery of the period. Ivory faced mahogany construction, with brass sliding scale. Central pull-out rule, with another ivory plaque to rear for making notes in pencil. Measures approx; 48cm long.
