ONION BOTTLE TWO:- Collar and stopper marked, fewer stress marks to neck, bubbles to body, has stopper, no apparent cracks or major damage.

A 19th century portrait miniature on ivory, oval, gentleman with frock coat. 65 mm x 52 mm, ebonised frame, foliate hanger. CONDITION REPORT: The ivory appears to be in good order with no visible chips or cracks. The paint is good throughout. Although one may think that the sky is a little washed out the portrait of the figure itself is very strong. The frame is in generally good order with only the slightest of nicks on the top right hand corner and very small minor nicks around the edge. The gilt framing is good. The folding metal retaining clips at the rear are very loose and flimsy and the image does sit rather loosely within the frame.

(See illustration) Condition report: Minor scratching to gold back commensurate with age. Scratching to glass, minor paint loss to lower part of cravat. Looks to be in good condition. Clasp clip spring working well, holds in place nicely.

Lot 3278

Three Paddington Bear soft plush toys and a similar Aunt Lucy, the four lack some clothing etc. Condition report: The bear with the white wellingtons has smaller round cinnamon felt footpads. There is no tag sewn in his back. He has a pitted bottom half of his nose, different to the other bears. There are no silver cards in the bears coat pockets with Gabrielle designs Doncaster written on them.There are no apparent moth holes or marks on the footpads.The clothing etc. is worn and there are a few small tears.There is no make on the suitcase, it is an early 20th century jewellery case.The BA travel bag is empty, the velcro is loose otherwise good.In the small plastic packet is a Collins book 'Paddington Goes To The Sales'.Aunt Lucy has a luggage label attached but the others do not.
