Commemorating Fredrick II King of Prussia.  One side is painted with a portrait of Fredrick II ,wearing an ermine trimmed coat and a laurel wreath on his head. Titled ‘Fred Prussia Rex’. The reverse painted with a Russian Eagle supporting a crown, a shield and sceptre with a banderole inscribed ‘Semper Sublimis’ Circa 1757-60 size 9cm high.  Condition. Australia, Keeling and Cocos Islands, plastic ivorine Twenty-Five Cents, 1913, coat of arms centre with inscription KEELING COCOS ISLANDS around, series issue date 1910 below, rev. serial number 1096 above, denomination C. 25 centre, issuer's name and date J. S. CLUNIES ROSS 1913 below, edge plain, 1.17g (KM Tn. 3). Toned with good residual enamel on inscriptions, very fine. An interesting and highly sought-after series which has become increasingly popular in recent years.Calendar year mintage 5,000.It's not often the provenance of a coin can be traced back to its source, but it can for this one. The consigner of this piece acquired it during his national service in the Royal Navy in the late 1950s and 60s. Serving in the Far East aboard HMS Loch Killisport (K628), he visited several ports in the Indian Ocean and Java Sea, alongside ships of the Royal Australian Navy, to assist Commonwealth forces during the Borneo Confrontation. Whilst deployed, the ship anchored in Keeling and Cocos, where the consignor purchased this coin as a memento, keeping it safe ever since.

Each panel is decorated with: * National Emblems: shamrocks for Ireland (at top and bottom), white and red roses for England, thistles for Scotland; * The Garter Star, with motto “Honi soit qui mal y pense”; * The motto “Quis separabit”;  * Banners depicting the Royal Arms (post-1837) and the Union Flag, each panel also bears a coat of arms, as follows: * Burton of Pollacton, co. Carlow, Bart; motto “Dominus providebit”; * Denys of Easton Neston, co. Northampton, Bart; motto “Ora e sempre”; * Slade, Bart, motto “Fidus et audax.” The arms indicate that the Screen is almost certainly that of Sir Francis Charles Edward Denys-Burton, Third Baronet (1849-1922) of Pollarton, High Sheriff of Co. Carlow, 1906. He was the son of Sir George William Denys, 2nd Bart, and in 1906 assumed additional surname of Burton in right of his wife, Grace Ellen, daughter of Lt-Col. März 1594. • Äußerst seltene erste russische Ausgabe des sogenannten Asketikons • Wegweisendes Hauptwerk des großen Kirchenvaters und bedeutenden Ordensgründers • Bis heute maßgebend für das orthodoxe Mönchtum • Schöner kyrillischer Druck in Rot und Schwarz mit bemerkenswertem Initialschmuck • Vollständiges und guterhaltenes Exemplar im zeitgenössischen Holzdeckelband Als Drucker dieses Werks wird heute Piotr Timofeev Mstislavets angesehen, der zuvor in den 1560er Jahren mit Ivan Fedorov, dem russischen Erstdrucker, in Moskau gearbeitet hatte. Nachdem ihre Moskauer Werkstatt niedergebrannt war, gingen sie getrennte Wege, Fedorov nach Lvov, Mstislavets nach Vilnius. In den 1570er Jahren kamen beide in Ostrog wieder zusammen und produzierten 1581 gemeinsam die berühmte Ostroger Bibel. Fedorov verließ Ostrog bald darauf, Mstislavets aber blieb und führte die Druckerei unter der Schirmherrschaft des Fürsten Ostrogsky weiter. Basilius der Große (329-379 n. Chr.) gilt als der Vater des östlichen Mönchtums. Sein vorliegendes Asketikon beschreibt die Vorteile eines asketischen Lebens für die Seele. Von großer Seltenheit, nach unseren Recherchen nur 1 weiteres Exemplar auf Auktionen nachweisbar (Sotheby's Monte Carlo, 29. Nov. 1975, Lot 399; heute in der Houghton Library). Nemirovskii führt 11 Exemplare in russischen Bibliotheken auf, außerhalb Rußlands besitzt nur die Österreichische Nationalbibl. 1 Exemplar. Durchmesser 75,4mm. Friedrich Karl von Württemberg-Winnental (1652-1698) war Herzog von Württemberg und seit 1682 verheirat mit Eleonore Juliane von Brandenburg-Ansbach (1663–1724). Das vierteilige Wappen mit den württ. Hirschstangen wurde unter Herzog Eberhard Ludwig im Jahr 1705 eingeführt. Die Rauten stehen für die Teck, für Markgröningen die Fahne, die Barben für Mömpelgard und der Heidenkopf für Heidenheim. Die fünf Helme der Helmzier stehen für: Adler/ Markgröningen, Jagdhorn/Württemberg, Fräulein mit Barben/Mömpelgard, Brackenkopf/Teck, Heidenkopf/ Heidenheim. Mit deutlichen Alters-und Gebrauchsspuren, Tönung, Kratzer, Kerben, Abrieb, Randunregelmäßigkeiten.|Germany/ Wurtemberg - one-sided round silver plaque without year (probably 19th/20th century), obverse centered Württemberg ducal coat of arms, around inscription FRIDERICVS.CAROLVS ELEONORA.IVLIANA, approx. 164g Ag rough, XRF analysis: 869 Ag/ 125 Cu/ 0,5 Zn. Diameter 75.4mm. Friedrich Karl von Württemberg-Winnental (1652-1698) was Duke of Württemberg and married Eleonore Juliane von Brandenburg-Ansbach (1663-1724) from 1682. The four-part coat of arms with the Württemberg stag bars was introduced under Duke Eberhard Ludwig in 1705. The diamonds stand for Teck, the banner for Markgröningen, the barbs for Mömpelgard and the pagan head for Heidenheim. The five helmets of the crest stand for: Eagle/ Markgröningen, hunting horn/Württemberg, Fräulein mit Barben/Mömpeögard, Brackenkopf/Teck, Heidenkopf/ Heidenheim. With clear signs of age and usage, toning, scratches, nicks, abrasion, edge irregularities.
