A close pair of Wood type creamware toby jugs each with ribbed strap handle modelled seated in stockings, breeches, frock coat, waistcoat and tricorn hat with an upended barrel at foot, a pipe to one side and with a foaming jug of ale and an empty jug respectively resting on one knee, under muted brown, blue and yellow glazes, 25 cm high, late 18th century, repairs to both.
