A ceramic figurine of a standing warrior with lamellar armour, cross-over war-coat, layered tunic and boots, dressed hair; hands modelled open to accept weapons. 7.10 kg total, figure 50cm, box 58 x 24cm (19 3/4, 23 x 9 1/2"). From a private UK collection, acquired on the London art market 1990-2000; accompanied by an original Oxford Authentication Thermoluminescence analysis report number C118d35, dated 28 March 2018. Finely modelled.

A well modelled, hollow cast Parian ware presentation figure of The Duke of Wellington, wearing frock coat and seated cross legged on chair draped with his cloak, plain rectangular base incorporating “WW” monogram in wreath on the top, and inscribed on the front “A Prize Presented to the Windsor Rifle Volunteers by the Mayor of Windsor.
