Comprising of a large shaped tray, teapot, sucrier, four cups and four saucers, converted and raised on to a Georgian mahogany tea table, (13) Condition report One saucer has a hairline crack to one side.The sugar bowl has minor stains to one side.The teapot has a later metal end fixed to the end of spout.Overall in good condition.

An Edwardian silver four piece tea set comprising teapot, coffee pot, twin handled sucrier and milk jug, all with heavy C scroll and floral decoration (by Walter & Charles Sisson, London 1902) approx 69.62 oz total, including handles, together with an Edwardian silver hot water jug of similar design (by Sibray, Hall & Co Ltd, London 1902 Charles Clement Pilling) approx 16.7 oz total weight including handle CONDITION REPORTS Water jug wobbly on the base. Appears to have considerable signs of wear and tear dents scratches scuffs etc , well used. Coffee pot wobbly to the base , with dents loose lid and loose handle, numerous surface scratches, accretions, dirt build up, stained inside. Milk jug with surface scratches, stained to inside, dents to the body, foot is bent upwards on one side, therefore wobbly. Sugar pot, stained, accretions, dents, scratches, foot is bent and wobbly. Teapot, scratches, loose handle, loose lid, stained, dents around the body, foot is misshapen. Accretions. All items general signs of wear and tear.

MATCHED GEORGIAN STYLE THREE PIECE SILVER TEA SET, comprising: oval section, straight sided teapot; boat shaped, pedestal sucrier and helmet shaped, pedestal cream jug, all with beaded outlines and foliate engraving. Teapot and sucrier with matching armorial devices, mailed fist clutching sword with motto: Arte et marte. Teapot, London, 1822, 13cm high, sucrier, London, 1886, 13m across, cream jug with obscured, rubbed marks, 15cm high (all approximate). 28oz Troy approx. (3)(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: All three pieces are heavily tarnished, with wear, the teapot is heavily worn with significant wear around the base rim, sucrier in fair condition overall, cream jug badly rubbed to area of hallmark.Note: Arte et Marte translates to 'By skill and Valour' and the crest with this motto applies to the Clan Bain. The motto is also utilised by the British Army Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Regiment.
LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY SILVER FOUR PIECE, MATCHED TEA SERVICE of fluted form, comprising: teapot and lidded sucrier, helmet shaped milk jug and a two handles sucrier, the teapot for London 1895, the lidded sucrier, Birmingham 1910, the helmet shaped milk jug and two handled sucrier both Sheffield 1909. 36 Troy ozs approx.(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Hallmarks very clear on three of the items, the lidded sucrier is slightly rubbed, appearing in good condition overall for age, minor wear and minor dinks and dents in places, but overall good.
EARLY 20TH CENTURY SILVER PRESENTATION FOUR PIECE TEA SERVICE, by William Briggs & Co, Sheffield 1913, comprising teapot, water jug and gilded two handled sucrier and cream jug, the teapot and water jug having ivory finials, overall with geometric design and etched scroll floral and foliate decoration, standing on bun feet. Presented to Mr Edward Sherlock by his fellow workmen and friends on the occasion of his severing his connection with Old Lodge tin plate works Llanelly, March 1914. 67 troy ounces approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Overall in good condition, general wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age. One of the ivory finials is loose on the water jug. Hallmarks are crisp and clear. Gilding to the interior of sucrier and cream jug very good. No serious damage overall.
