A Newhall porcelain tea service, early 19th Century Comprising a vase shape spirally fluted teapot and cover decorated with gilt leaves and a cobalt blue and gilt freeze centred with flower heads 18cms, a sucrier and cover, two slop bowls, eleven tea bowls, three coffee cans, fourteen saucers, two bowls 20cms, teapot stand damaged, and a English porcelain part service of similar design. (63 pieces) some damaged.

No restoration or other damage.

Lot 105

Four items of Black Basalt, to include a lidded sucrier, a Birch teapot, a sucrier and jug by Eastwood, impressed marks to base and side of bases, early 19th century (6) Condition report: the lidded sucrier has minor nicks to the edge of the cover. The Birch teapot has chips to the cover and old restoration to the spout. The Eastwood sucrier base lacks a cover and has rim chips, the jug has very minor rim nicks.

Glazed buff coloured part tea service circa 1820, probably North-East, printed in sepia with women with children after Adam Buck, to include a lidded teapot, lidded sucrier, cream jug, four teacups and four saucers, circa 1810 (13) Condition report: Small chip to teapot spout, inner rim and glazed over rim chip. One cup has a glazed over rim chip. Another has a hairline to the lower handle join. Minor scratches to the brown enamel borders.

Pair of buff coloured twin handled vases, with twin handles printed in sepia with figures after Adam Buck, together a similar sucrier and a cup and saucer, early 19th century (6) Condition report: The vases lack covers, each one has a restored handle, the saucer has a restored rim chip. The Sucrier has a chip to the inner rim, the handle has a glazed over chip to the underside.

Pearlware part tea and coffee service attributed to Sewell, printed in terracotta with tea party patterns, to include a coffee pot, and teapot, cream jug, sucrier, three cups and five saucers (15) Condition report: The coffee pot has small chips to the spout and cover, the teapot has small restored chips to the edge of the cover. The cover has a glued finial and restored cover chips. The three cups have hairlines, two have rim chips. Some losses to the enamel.

Collection of Stoneware Dry bodied stoneware three piece teaset possibly Lakin moulded with figures painted with over glaze blue, together a with a similar teapot moulded with vases, also a Wilson olive green teapot and similar lidded dish with silver handle, early 19th century (11) Condition report: The first teapot has small chips to the spout and cover, the sucrier has a restuck cover, old remade handle, and a hairline crack to the side. The cream jug has a touched in enamel chip. The second teapot has a minor chip to the spout. The Wilson teapt has a chip to the cover and damage to the spout, the lidded bowl has small chips to the rim.

Pearlware lidded jug and a sucrier and stand circa 1800, probably Leeds, with moulded strap handles, reeded bands and chequered borders on green and blue grounds, (5) The jug measures 16.5cm high Condition report: The jug has old restored chips to the spout, lid and rim. The sucrier base has restored chips. Fine crazing.

Pearlware tea service, printed with figures playing instruments in garden scenes, to include a lidded teapot, sucrier, bowl, jug, and four teabowls and saucers, also a similar tea caddy and small teabowl and saucer, early 19th century, (17) Condition report: chip to the teapot lid, one saucer has a chip, another has a crack. One teabowl has a crack. The sucrier has a foot chip.

Four pieces of Prattware, to include two jugs, one painted with agricultural tools and a bail of hay, the second painted with a floral chain, a lidded sucrier with swan finial, and an open sucrier impressed Wood, early 19th century, (2) The tallest jug measures 19cm high Condition report: The smaller jug has restoration to the rim and spout as well as a minor nick to the handle. The larger jug has a body crack and foot chips. The lidded sucrier has a chip to the foot and to the flange of the cover, there is some restoration to the cover and rim of the base. The Wood sucrier has two restored cracks, and several rim chips. Some crazing.

Victorian Davenport gilt floral porcelain forty-five piece tea service of Etruscan pattern form, enamel decorated with bands of pink roses, pattern no. 730, including a teapot, cream and milk jugs, covered sucrier, with damages and far-matching Grosvenor saucers. (49) Condition Report Bread plate is stained and cracked. Four saucers are cracked. Four saucers are replacements by Grosvenor (one of these is cracked). Sucrier lid is cracked and missing the finial. Milk jug is chipped on the rim. Teapot is cracked and repaired with staples and the knop re-stuck. Slop bowl has been restored. Five tea cups are cracked. Three coffee cups are chipped and two are cracked.

A Soviet teapot and lidded jug, the teapot marked "Soviet Circa 1925", Kuzhetzov lidded vessel with integral base, blue printed mark and label, and a Russian teapot. CONDITION REPORT: The blue teapot is in generally good condition. There is no damage, no repairs and no restoration. The only issues are rubbing to the gilding. The lidded sucrier and stand is in generally good order with only minor rubbing to the gilding. The pink teapot has damage. There is a chip to the underside edge of the foot rim and two chips to the rim of the base of the teapot. The handle has also been broken and re-glued. The lid is in good order. The cream jug has had a replacement lid, the spout has been restored and there is a hairline crack around the top of the handle.

A collection of Russian ceramics, comprising teapot, lidded sucrier, four cups and four saucers, with puce mark to base, a similar coffee pot and lidded sucrier, the sucrier bearing ink label "Gardener", and a polychrome cylindrical pot also marked "Gardener". CONDITION REPORT: All pieces have minor rubbing to the gilding, other than this all of the matching pieces in this lot are in good order with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. The "Gardener" basin has a small chip to the rim and a star crack to the base. We do not know whether these are first quality or not.
