Scratches and wear to the gilding. One of the teapots has restoration to the spout, shown in photograph. Discolouration to the bullsblood enamel colour on the large jug and one of the teapots particularly, shown in the photos.

A Volkstedt tea and coffee service, circa 1800, of reeded form, each piece monogrammed ‘AMW’, within a puce circular ribbon border, surrounded by floral sprays and scattered sprigs, comprising coffee pot and cover, teapot and cover, sucrier and cover, milk jug and cover and four similar teacups and saucers, the coffee pot 18cm high (16) The four cups and saucers have black pitting and rubbing to the gilded initials. One of the jugs and covers has a surface slither out at the spout and the sugar bowl and cover has a crack going down the side at the front.
