Four late 18th/early 19th century sucriers, each of similar design and all with crescent marks to base (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The largest of the four sucriers has nibbles to the floral knop. There are also three under edge chips to the rim which do not travel as far as the blue tram line. The base has a significant hairline crack running from the top lip right down into the bottom of the piece in a semi circle. The second sucrier has two minor nibbles to the top knop. Otherwise the lid is in very good order. The base is also in good condition with no issues. The third sucrier with the fence pattern has very minor nibbles to the top knop which has been broken and professionally reattached and overpainted. The reminder of the lid is in good condition. The base is in good order with no issues other than minor rubbing to the bottom of the foot rim. The fourth sucrier has minor nibbles to the top knop. Otherwise the lid is in good condition. The base has an inside edge rim chip which is not visible from the exterior. Other than the chip the base is in good order with no further issues.
A fine quality George V silver matched three piece part tea and coffee service, the teapot and twin handled sucrier by Ackroyd Rhodes, London 1908, the coffee pot by Fattorini & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1923, all of compressed globular form with planished finish and lion mask strapwork borders on a matted floral and foliate ground, the coffee pot 8in. (20.25cm.) high, gross weight 57.5 tr.oz. (3) * Condition: In very good condition overall. Coffee pot finial and teapot handle & finial faded. Two tiny dings to sucrier. Marks on teapot slightly rubbed but still legible.
An Edwardian silver sucrier and cream jug, Atkin Bros., Sheffield 1905, with lotus form body with everted rims, the sucrier inscribed 'From Wilkinson and Marshall 1883-1908' and single initial 'W' to both pieces, on four foliate bracket feet, the sucrier 4¾in. (12cm.) diameter, weight 9.5 tr.oz. (2) * Condition: Marks good. Both pieces in good condition.
