Worcester porcelain, Bengal Tiger or Dragons in Compartments part tea and coffee set, c.1840, comprising ; lidded teapot, 16cm high, lidded sucrier, bowl, 15cm diameter, eight tea cups and seven saucers, five coffee cans and five saucers. Condition Report: Chip to rim of sucrier lid, chip to rim of bowl and several chips to footrim, three teacups are either lacking a handle or chiped/cracked and four saucers have chips or hairline cracks. one coffee can lacking handle, another has several chips to the footrim. Edward VIII silver three piece bachelors tea setthe teapot with ebonised handle and finial, dated one year later than the matching cream jug and sucrier, bearing marks for John Millward Banks, Birmingham, 1906 and 1907, 366g approx overall (3) Overall signs of age-related wear and use. Some small scratches in places. Possible double-struck hallmark to the teapot, otherwise hallmarks are mostly clear and legible. Evidence of original silver gilt to the interior of the milk jug and sucrier. Tarnish and oxidation throughout.
