Assorted 18th century and later ceramics comprising a slop bowl decorated with a canary on branch, a hand painted blue and white tea bowl and saucer, a transfer blue and white bowl, a Spode tea cup and saucer, a miniature creamware teapot, a Masons tankard, a sucrier, two half clam dishes, a Limoges coffee cup and saucer and a moulded jug. Condition - general good, blue and white saucer with star hairline to base, losses to glaze on the blue and white dish, firing cracks to Masons mug.

Lot 197

A 19th century part tea and coffee services. CONDITION REPORT: One coffee cup has a hairline crack. Another is a little browned to the interior. The remaining six are in generally good order with no chips. They all have dirt ingrained into the foot rim. The sucrier has nibbles to the underside of the lid rim. The base has significant rubbing to the gilding and is stained to the interior and has a chip to the inner edge base of the top rim. There are also minor hairline cracks and staining. One saucer has a hairline crack across the base and is a little discoloured. One teacup has a faint hairline crack. The teapot knop has been broken off and glued back. The interior of the pot is a little stained and there is some crazing and discolouration to the inner lid receiving area and less so to the exterior. There is some discolouration to the base. All pieces have varying degrees of rubbing to the gilding and all have crazing when viewed under magnification.

A Japanese Meiji period Satsuma pottery "Thousand Flowers" coffee service, comprising 6 coffee cups and saucers, lidded coffee pot and lidded sucriere. CONDITION REPORT: The Thousand Flowers coffee service is in a good overall condition with only minor decoration wear and usage marks. There are no apparent chips or cracks. The only main apparent blemish is to the lid of the sucrier which has staining to the underside probably because the glaze has crazed.
