No signs of restoration.

A rare suite of 18th century Worcester porcelain, possibly painted by James Giles, including a cream jug, tea caddy, sucrier, coffee can and teacup, decorated with a floral pattern in purple and blue enamels and gilt.This collection was featured on Antiques Roadshow with the specialist David Batty who proposed an attribution to James Giles during a visit to Colchester recorded in 1993, shown 1994The sucrier cover has a staple repair to the finial, and some nibbles to the rim of the finial. The lid of the caddy has a tiny loss an applied leaf. There is some minor git wear commensurate with age and use. Otherwise in good condition.

The sucrier has a hairline cracks around the rim, handles and base. Teapot: Cover discoloured and has some small chips to the inner rim. Some small stress cracks near the spout. Teacup: Hairline crack from the rim to the base of the handle. All pieces having some loss of gilding and surface wear.
