William Esdaile (1758-1837), banker and collector, who lived on Clapham Common, and whose picture collection included works by Durer, Ostade, Rubens, Ruisdael, Richard Wilson and Gainsborough. (3)

A large Hancock and Sons Rubens Ware 'pomegranate' pattern printed and painted vase by F X Abraham, 32cm high CONDITION REPORT: The glaze is heavily crazed and cracked although this is only visible on close inspection, and whilst there are no chips or cracks the vase does not 'ring' when tapped and therefore there are one or more hairline cracks that I have not found.
