W. Hutton, Edinburgh - A Scottish George III early 19th century flame mahogany cased eight-day movement longcase grandfather's clock. The clock having a curved top hood with glazed front and shaped finial. Reeded columns to body flanking a central door. Raised on bracket feet. The white enamel circular clock face with Roman numeral to chapeter ring, subsidiary seconds dials over an 8-day double fusee movement. The face stamped W. Hutton Edinburgh 1810. With two weights and pendulum.Measures approx. 210cm x 44cm x 20cm.

Pair of late Victorian candlesticks, with fluted columns, on square bases with bead borders, separate sconces (Sheffield 1899) William Hutton & Sons Ltd. 13cm overall height.General overall condition is good, some tarnish, surface wear, scratching and denting, flat areas at lower end of columns are dented and knocked in, on one stick the weighted base insert is proud, neither appear to have had any repairs, rims of sconces are very slightly bent, one is presently stuck. Marks are clear.

Dent and compression seen to the base. Cover doesn't sit quite flush against the body.Evidence of repair/unfinished connection between handle and body (seen to interior) General scuffs, scratches, dents and blemishes seen throughout, commensurate with age and use. Minor dent to the tip of the pepperette. Repair/lead solder seen to exterior of body where handle connects to body. Residue seen to the interior.

A Pair of Edward VII Silver Candlesticks, by William Hutton and Sons Ltd., London, 1906, each on stepped and beaded square base, the slightly tapering stems terminate in Corinthian capital and with detachable beaded nozzle, filled, 14.5cm high (2)Each fully marked on base and nozzle. There is some wear to the marks on each but in general they are legible. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable to the corners, some of which have had the silver worn through. There are some bruises and dings overall, most noticeable on the socket of one.
