Six autograph album pages nicely signed in black ink to three pages by the England team including the twelfth man and three pages by the sixteen members of the Indian touring party. Blair, John (Scottish 1850-1934) “ST ANDREWS” – view from the edge of the links with The R & A Club house and course in the distance - water colour inscribed and signed – image 7” x 10” –f&g overall 11.75 x 8.75”. Note: Born at Hutton, near Berwick upon Tweed in 1850, Blair was an Edinburgh artist who worked largely in watercolour, producing topographical views on the east coast, including Edinburgh and the Borders. Blair exhibited regularly from 1870 until 1920, including 83 works at the Royal Scottish Academy.

An Art Nouveau pewter and cabuchon mounted caddy by William Hutton & Sons, c.1900, the hinged oval cover surmounted by pierced finial decorated with circular cabuchon probably by Ruskin, the body flaring to shaped oval foot and adorned with two further heart shaped cabuchons and enclosed with continuous shaped wire handles, bearing `PEWTER`, `02163` and Hutton`s mark to verso, 19cm wide.
