A late Victorian four-piece silver tea and coffee service by William Hutton & Sons Ltd., London, 1899, bellied oval with wavy scroll rims and collet foot, sides embossed with flowers and scrolls incorporating cartouches to either side, one side initialled "WH", the other side vacant except for teapot whose cartouche is inscribed with presentation inscription to a Walter Hewitt dated 1900, angular ribbed and ebonised wood handles to teapot and coffee pot, coffee pot 22 cm. high, wt. 2110 gm.Good condition. An extremely shallow and barely noticeable bruise to one side of teapot, overall excellent condition.
