A cased late Art Deco silver and pink guilloche enamel pocket cigarette case, having engine turned and monogrammed back cover, inscribed to gilt wash interior, maker Henry Clifford Davis, Birmingham 1950, 8.5 x 7.8cm; together with a matching hinged powder compact, retailed by The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company (2). Cigarette case – hinge good and closes air tight, approx. 3x4mm surface chip to enamel at left hand top chamfered edge, otherwise enamel appears good, some surface staining / tarnishing to engine turned back cover.Compact – hinge action good, enamels appear good and complete, some staining / tarnishing to engine turned back cover.Generally with some very light surface scratches throughout and minor age wear to gilt interiors.
