The beast of mottled brown pale jade, carved as a dragon-turtle, the cat of similar pale brown mottled hue, carved in curled in a recumbent sleeping pose. The first 5.5cm long, the cat 3cm long. A CHINESE CARVED JADE BRUSH WASHER AND TWO SEALS. All pale in hue, the peach-shaped brush washer with carved pierced leafy branches, a seal stamp with a toad-like finial and another hollow seal or possibly a pendant with pierced top. The brush washer 5.6cm long and the seals 8cm long max. (3)The brush washer appears to have a very small crack, or possible inclusion to the edge of one leaf, minor wear overall. The seals/pendant with some slight wear at edges.
THREE CHINESE CARVED JADE PENDANTS. Comprising: a fish carved with scales, its mouth pierced for suspension, a rectangular pendant carved with a calligraphic seal, a quail in landscape below ruyi clouds and a light green pendant in the form of a vase carved with gourds and a butterfly, a seal to reverse. The fish 8cm long (3)The rectangular pendant with a very small chip to rim, some minor surface wear overall. Overall in good order.
A COLLECTION OF CHINESE WHITE AND GILT-METAL HAIRPINS AND OTHER STONE ITEMS, LATE QING DYNASTY/20TH CENTURY. Comprising: Seven hairpins with carved agate, jade, enamel and gilt-metal mounts, two carved green hardstone pendants modelled as a seated Buddha and a turtle, with yellow metal mounts, a hardstone ring and three small discs (13)Some areas of old soldered repairs to hairpins, noticeably at reverse where the decorative ornament has been reattached to the pin, some rubbing to gilt metal and tarnishing. One hairpin with jade mount is chipped to jade with further decorative elements lacking. Turtle pendant with chipping to tips of feet. Overall some wear.
A CHINESE ENAMELLED SILVER FILIGREE JADE BRACELET, 20TH CENTURY. Six panels with four carved jade inserts carved with auspicious characters, further decorated to the silver with enamelled floral decoration. Stamped silver to clasp, with safety chain. 19.5cm length.One metal with slight enamel loss otherwise in good overall condition.
A CHINESE SILVER MOUNTED JADE CLIP BROOCH, EARLY 20TH CENTURY. Celadon and white jade carved and pierced into floral scrolls mounted in a silver mount embossed with eight running horses. Floral design to the underside, stamped 'China, No 23, Silver' with folding clip. 6.5cm x 5cm. Total weight 31.9 grams.Overall good condition with no signs of damage or repair.

A carving of lion dog and pup on a carved and pierced wooden stand with key fret decoration, together with a model of a fish on wooden stand. Lion dog 19cm length. (2)All in good overall condition with no major damages or signs of repair.

TWO CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN DISHES, 19TH CENTURY. To include a dragon dish with Yu (jade) mark to base. Together with another dish decorated with butterfly and flowering peony branches. 24cm and 27.5cm diam. (2) Dragon dish with one shallow chip to rim. Single hairline to base with firing fault next to mark. The other dish with minor nicks to rim.
A CHINESE WHITE JADE AND RUSSET BRUSH WASHER / WATER POT, QING DYNASTY. Of ovoid form with overlapping lotus leaves with trailing stems and leaves wrapping around the body and bridging the open section. On a carved wood stand. Jade 7.5cm length. Jade weight 105.8 grams. Together with a copy of Insurance valuation from Sotheby & Co. London 1974. Provenance: Property of Dr.G.W.Milledge acquired during his time in China c.1930s, thence by descent.Overall good condition with no major damage and no repairs. Three noticeable lines to the larger stem bridging the open section.
Chinese bronze tripod censer indistinctly marked, 12cm, later wooden cover, soapstone carving, two carved horn crocodiles and a small variegated jade bowl.Qty: 5Condition report:Fracture lines to the small jade bowl/ dish. Bronze censer has some pitting to the feet and general rubbing to the detailing. Soapstone carving generallly ok. Crocodile horn carvings also generally ok.
