A Chinese bangle, mottled brown and purple carved with masks. Diameter 85 mm, band width 18 mm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: We do not think that this bangle is actually Jade. We think it is some other form of hard stone, it is however in extremely good condition with no damage, no repair and no restoration.

A 1920s Stevens & Williams Royal Brierley vase designed by William Northwood of cylindrical form with flared rim cased in an iridescent orange over jade green and decorated in the Oriental taste with a Chinese dragon between scrolling clouds, picked out in relief gilding, acid signature, height 22cm.
