A carved jade and diamond pendant, the oval mottled deep green plaque carved to depict fruit and leaves, on a pierced cloud form backing plate and surmounted by an asymmetric linear mount randomly set with seven round brilliant cut diamond highlights, white precious metal with Chinese character marks, tests for platinum; length 3.9cm
CHINESE JADE CARVING. An early 19th century Chinese jade carving of two cranes holding fruiting peach branches, on carved wooden stand. Length 6.5cm. CONDITION REPORTS: The carving is in generally good condition. By close examination with a loupe, the only flaw we could find is on the tip of one leaf, to the right-hand side of the fruits. This tip has been chipped and a slightly sharp edge can be felt with a fingertip. There appears to be no further chips, cracks or repairs.
