A Chinese pale celadon jade `floral' brush washer, 17th century or possibly later, modelled in the form of a flower with domed centre and four curved petals, the exterior carved in openwork with a chilong and chrysanthemum borne on leafy branches forming the base, the stone with cream and russet inclusions, 15cm. wide. A Chinese jade and gilt-metal mounted hand mirror, 19th century, the handle formed as a pale celadon belt hook, carved with a chilong crawling towards the dragon-head terminal, the white jade mirror back carved with a jardiniere of flowers on a stand, mirror back 10cm. by 11.5cm., belt hook 11.5cm. length. An early 20th Century Chinese jade and hardstone table screen decorated with squirrel upon a tree with stork looking on within a carved rosewood swivel frame CONDITION REPORTS Whilst basically sound, the panel has some loss to the top left scroll of the branch and to the middle area above the fruit. See images for detail. The panel itself has some, what appear to be natural flaws looking from the back - bottom right and up the left hand side - giving a paler look. The frame basically sound though the bottom left has some damage to the rear foot and at the base of the stand upright. That hat of the man on the back of the buffalo is chipped to the top. There are a few cracks to the stone which may or may not be natural flaws but the beast's right foot has damage and loss. See images.
