2021 Volkswagen Transporter T30 Highline Camper Transmission: manualMileage:5020Volkswagen unveiled the updated T6.1 version of the T6 at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2019. Essentially a mid-cycle refresh, the main updates were electric power steering, which allows for the implementation of more driver assist functions compared to the T6. There were also minor styling updates in the form of a deeper front grille section. The T6.1 also has a new dashboard incorporating updated infotainment systems similar to those used in Volkswagen's passenger car range, and the ability to specify the 'Virtual Cockpit' fully digital instrument cluster first seen on the Golf and Passat.This stunning one owner T30 Highline was purchased by our vendor with the express intention of converting it to a bespoke camper and the results are stunning. The cost of the high specification manual T30 initially was £34,000 plus VAT alone. Specified in grey, our vendor had the van fully kitted with the 'Leighton Van Bodykit' with top of the line load rated alloy wheels with Bilstein Komfort Coilovers and no expense spared on the tyres.'No expense spared' is probably a good description for this example as Westdubs were commissioned for a two-birth pop top conversion. Mercedes-Benz E320 Cabriolet Transmission: automaticMileage:89593The debut vehicle for this line was the 300 CE-24 Cabriolet, built until 1993 until it was succeeded by the E320 Cabriolet which became a classic in its own right. What is more, it had the potential to become a genuine piece of automotive history since its production period was relatively brief and numbers built were relatively low. The design stems from their four-door counterparts with modern features such as the eccentric sweep panoramic windscreen wiper, independent suspension and highly advanced safety systems. These were also disguised roll-over hoops in the event of an accident. If un-extended, they automatically deployed in 0.3 seconds if sensors detected an 'unusual angle of attack'. The convertible roof stowed away under a rear panel leaving nothing above the body to disturb the cabriolet form.This lovely example is presented in white with a cream leather interior with walnut insert to dash and has a black electrically operated hood. It comes with electric windows, stereo and electric ariel and it also has its book pack and spare wheel. This very retro and desirable cabriolet is offered in good condition and is now a very sought-after model, with most being offered with considerably higher mileage than this one which has only done 89,593 miles from new.

Thomas Henry Frostick, a Chimney Sweep, was born in Brentwood, Essex on 6 February 1879. He attested for service with the Royal Berkshire Regiment for service during the Great War. Appointed Acting Warrant Officer Class II, he saw later service with the Labour Corps. He died, aged 57, in Wallisdown, Dorset, on 20 August 1936. John Frederick Hankins, a Schoolmaster, was born in Hitchin, Hertfordshire in 1883. He attested for the Royal Berkshire Regiment and served during the Great War with the 6th Battalion on the Western Front from 25 July 1915. Appointed Sergeant, he was twice hospitalised due to Shell Shock, and was discharged ‘No Longer Physically Fit’ on 27 February 1918, being awarded a Silver War Badge, No. 321,778. He emigrated to Canada, and died soon after in Montreal on 21 October 1918.
