19th century carriage clock with eight day movement, lever escapement, repeat and alarm striking on two gongs, backplate with Henri Jacot trademark and signed - Klaftenberger, white enamel dial with Roman numerals and blue outer minute scale and subsidiary alarm dial, signed - Klaftenberger, 157 Regent Street & Paris, in a worn gilt metal gorge case (carrying handle missing), underside with full striking, silent and quarter striking lever, 4cm overall height without handle (key present) CONDITION REPORT General condition reasonable. Movement is dirty and there are finger prints on side of plates. The escapement is clean and moves but we are unable to say if the whole movement is in working order. Screw-head on gong mount damaged. Enamel dial is undamaged but the alarm hand is bent. Case is in poor condition - all the gilding has gone and top handle has been broken off at the mounts and is missing
A gilt metal alarm clock inscribed Omega, with silvered dial, 9cm high CONDITION REPORT: Lot 140 - surface scratches, marks, stains to casing, small fading to back, small fading to indicators at top of dial. When wound, currently clock is ticking, and appears to work, however subsidiary seconds hand is stationary. No box or papers with clock.
