Surrounded by Arabic numerals for minutes, single winding hole above calendar aperture, centre of the dial with a ring for setting alarm, marked in Arabic. Aperture for pendulum movement, disc to the top WM. Webster Exchange Alley, London and gilt floral mask spandrels. The flanks with silk back fretwork brass.H 48.5cm x W 28cm x D 18cm CONDITION REPORT: Ebonised case, missing front right of door and bottom right at the base, and mitred bracket foot.Dial in good order, with period hands and firmly placed spandrels, single wind. With date aperture, pendulum aperture and alarm dial to the centre.Vented side panels loose, carry handle and finials secure. Rear door has loose beading. Opens to reveal engraved backplate, two hammers to the bell, single train, single fusee movement, with wheel pull. With pendulum. Damage to escape mechanism which is snapped off where it feeds through pendulum stem.
