Swiss Art Deco blue enamel, tortoiseshell and gold-plated travel alarm clock, the turquoise Arabic dial marked 8 Jours Swiss Made, within oblong surround and gilt metal easel back, 8cm wide, in original fitted box Condition: Most of 'crazing' to borders of dial is deliberate but one horizontal one beneath 8 Jours inscription appears to be a hairline. Otherwise sound. Movement not tested and sold as seen. A good collection of vintage retro windup clocks / alarm clocks to include a Smiths Alarm clock with arabic numeral to the chapter ring finished in baby blue colourway, Trig-Ton alarm clock with multiple dials and hands, two Westclox and two Metamec clocks. Some of them having electronic movement.
A late 19th century oak cased mantle clock, with two-train movement, alarm and musical comb. Height 19 cm, width 15 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The clock case is in generally good order. The face is in good condition also. The pointers adjust as they should. The movement is currently ticking away but we have not had the musical movement operating as we are not entirely sure how this works. The musical movement train appears fully wound. The drive train winds. We do not have a key.

Drocourt & Co. A 19th century French quarter repeating carriage alarm clock, retailed by Leroy & Fils, Regent Street and Paris, with gorge case, enamelled Roman dial, blued steeled hands and movement striking on a bell, width 3.5in. depth 3.25in. height 5.5in.CONDITION: In somewhat neglected condition, case looks to have been overpainted or re-gilt with a matted finish which is now wearing away, dial with a fine hairline crack running from the top left corner into 55, lettering on the dial is feint and there are other tiny dirt specks throughout, hands look original, slightly oxidised, right side panel has a tiny chip in the lower left corner, escapement probably a later replacement, movement running but not tested for timekeeping, repeat function is not working correctly and the larger hand continuously strikes the bell when the repeat is wound, backplate of movement engraved Retard / Avance with the Drocourt stamp to the left of the bell, numbered 9455 beneath the Aiguilles adjustment, also stamped 9003 in the lower left corner, engraved at the base Repousee Por Leroy & Fils ...., matching number 9003 stamped to the base of the case.

A late 19th century French ormolu cased quarter repeating carriage alarm clock, with signed enamelled Roman dial and movement striking on a bell, width 3.75in. depth 3.25in. height 5.75in.CONDITION: Case with a matted gilt finish worn down to the base metal in many places, dial with some light dirt spotting but otherwise good, hands look original, dial with the word Paris beneath 6 o'clock, back door glass with chipping near the lower right corner, escapement possibly original, movement runs but not tested for timekeeping, repeat function partially striking but out of sync, backplate engraved slow/fast alarm at the top, hands above alarm hand and James Walter Marshall, Paris lower down, numbered 909.
