A mixed lot of toys including five boxed battery operated items including two Ooglies, a Johnny Apple Bot and a Scooter Alarm Clock, together with a boxed friction drive Rupert Bear '3 in 1 Magic Car', all appear G+/VG though untested in generally G+ packaging. Two carded b/o Cyber Dogs, both detached from backing cards, and two unboxed smaller clockwork examples are also included in this lot. (10)
John Cowell, Royal Exchange, London, an 18th century ebonised gilt metal mounted bracket clock, the eight-day five pillar twin fusee movement with verge escapement, hour repeat and alarm, well engraved back plate and bobbin pendulum, the arched brass and silvered dial with strike/silent selector and date aperture, 45 cm high overall
An Oval Brass Engraved Porcelain Mounted Striking and Repeating Alarm Carriage Clock, signed W.Schonberger, Wien, circa 1890, carrying handle and repeat button, engraved throughout with scroll and floral decoration, case sides and the back door porcelain panels depicting figures in costume set in woodland scenes, porcelain dial with a Roman numeral chapter ring and painted below with children alongside a lady in costume, alarm dial, twin barrel movement with a silvered platform lever escapement and striking on a gong, movement backplate numbered 388, 19cm high over handle see illustration 22.02.17, Brass surfaces are slightly discoloured, porcelain panels are clean, dial with small scratch marks just above the hands towards the 12 o'clock position, centre of the dial with very minor chips, movement is dirty and needs cleaning, gong appears to have been replaced, alarm is functioning, strike and repeat are fuctioning but not striking and repeating correctly, spring for the striking barrel appears to be slipping when key winding, movement in going order.

A leather cased Art Deco brass travelling bedside alarm clock by Zenith Watch Co. With Arabic numeral markers and luminous inlaid hands, 7.75cm. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Mechanism running. Adjusters working. Alarm function doesn't appear to be operational. Hand inlays with some loss. Case lining slightly tired.
